2021.10.23 22:58 Capybara_man How to make friends at 20
As the title says, how should I go about making new friends at the age of 20? I didn't go to college because I was hired straight out of high school by a company doing commercial framing and drywalling. So since I didn't go to college I haven't made any new friends in the past 2 years accept for the guys I work with. But keep in mind, I'm 20 and I work in construction, so it's mostly dudes at least twice my age. After high school no one I used to call my friends has spoken to me at all and I'm just sick of being lonely all the time. I have one friend who I've known since I was 6 but that's really about it.
So how would I go about making new friends? I can't go to a bar since ya know, united States, and ya can't do shit till youre 21. I can't meet people in clubs or in school since I skipped out on college. I just don't know what to do anymore. Any advice/ideas would be appreciated, and I mean hell, I live near fuquay and apex in NC if this helps any.

2021.10.23 22:58 A_Division_Agent Show next events (including off-days) and possibility to copy agenda to clipboard to share it.
Hi again 👋🏼
Yesterday I posted here a shortcut I made, but sadly I didn't tested it properly and it was crashing on startup.
Now it should be fixed and working correctly!
This is the first time I share a shortcut I made, so let me know if something is wrong or could be made better!
This shortcut was made for personal use, but I figured it could be useful for many others so I decided to share it.
It basically shows you every next event (off days included) you have in your calendar, presenting them in a tidy list of text. You can decide how many days to show, and then you will be presented with the choice of copying the agenda to your clipboard or not, so you can easily share your next events by just pasting it on your favorite messaging app.
It supports every language in the world via Microsoft Translate.
The first time you run it you will be asked for translate permissions and to set your language, then you will be able to use the shortcut in your native language from the next time on.
Here’s the shortcut’s
[direct link](https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/34bfeb5aad4940b7bb30a3c12e42cd00) and the [RoutineHub link](https://routinehub.co/shortcut/10354/).
Let me know if it works and if it’s useful for you!

2021.10.23 22:58 Accomplished-Newt489 How to best use No contact when you live with ex girlfriend?
My Girlfriend (32F) just broke up with me (33M) last night. We have been dating for about a year and living together for almost our whole relationship. We have been fighting a lot recently and my ex says she doesn’t want to be in this relationship anymore. I am planning on doing no contact but we live together in a house that she owns. I left it off with a text saying I disagree with her decision to end our relationship, but I respect her need for peace, time and space and wished her the best. How do I successfully use no contact in this situation?

2021.10.23 22:58 jhfcyyckygvkhg Body position guide
This is based off my knowledge and experience as an amateur rider who does not know everything. Please let me know if there is anything I have forgotten to add or anything you know that should be included.
A lot of people don't fully realize the tools at their disposal when it comes to handling a dirtbike. Having full access to the controls of the dirtbike inherently makes riding easier, and having an easier time riding generally allows you to ride faster.
Body positioning- This is the number one thing in my opinion that people can do to improve. Many people ride their bike like someone driving a car without power steering because they just don't know how to have more control over the bike.
Hands- The hands are probably your primary input control on the bike if you are a beginner rider. Many people ride with their hands gripping the bars such that the inside of their hand is touching the inside of the grip-this is wrong. The inside of your hand should be separated from the inside of your grips by maybe half an inch, forming a triangle between your hand and the base of the grip. This hand placement encourages your elbows to be up which makes your forearms perpendicular to your body, increasing control effectiveness. I don't recommend keeping a finger on the clutch or front brake at all times, but its really up to you whether or not you want to do that, and whether you use 1 or 2 fingers to pull the clutch or front brake. NEVER 4 finger the clutch or front brake PLEASE.
Arms- Correct arm positioning is keeping your elbows up and arms perpendicular to your torso so that any bumps and inputs are felt at a right angle to your torso, this not only makes handling the bike easier but keeps your arms from getting super pumped early into your ride. Your elbows should be bent and your torso should be forward enough to keep this arm placement in most circumstances.
Torso- The main mistake that people make when riding is not standing up and keeping their torso in a neutral to forward position, and moving with the acceleration and braking of the bike. When I haven't been on a bike in forever and get back into it, my lower back muscles are the sorest they ever are. Many people just sit on the seat and keep their torso completely separated and PASSIVE from their control over the bike, basically just sitting down or doing nothing. You need your torso to be forward and ACTIVE in your control over your dirtbike, this has a HUGE effect on your ability to control the bike under heavy braking, high speed bumps, going over jumps- all thing needed to lap a dirtbike quickly. You should be thinking about how forward your torso is under braking and acceleration, you should not have to spend a great deal of arm strength to keep your torso from flying off the bike. That's more a point for efficiency, but it is much harder to control the bike if your arms are spending all of their strength in one moment to keep yourself from flying off the back of the bike.
Head- Your head should pretty much be inline with your forks if your torso positioning is correct. Not much to say here other than to keep your head aiming forward, where you want to go, rather than right in front of you. This is most noticeable and helpful when riding a rut or corner. Keeping your eyes aimed at the beginning of the rut before you enter it, and the end of the rut once you are entering it are very helpful in making cornering more comfortable.
Hips- hips should generally be slightly back so that your back is straight, and you can turn the bike with your hips, but this is something that I think is more advanced and comes naturally if you are doing the other things right, so I'm not going to go into great detail.
Legs- Legs should be slightly bent. Straight legs reduce your ability to control the bike. You should be standing up more than you are, and more than you think you need to be. Not standing up makes controlling the bike very hard, and you should be standing up into basically every corner. Sitting down is only really viable when you are in a straight away and already full throttle with no need for controlling the bike.
Knees- knees are very important in controlling the bike, many people do not think about this at all or use their knees when riding a dirtbike. Your knees should be gripping the tank gently basically all the time, and really gripping the bike when entering corners. Gripping your knees adds a great deal of stability and control over your dirtbike. For me at least, my feet and knees are the primary control over the bike. You can ride a bike very fast without using your arms almost at all. I recommend trying to get comfortable riding with only your throttle hand, as this forces correct torso placement and leg control usage
Feet- Your feet should be wedged into the corner of your footpegs and your frame, with your toes pointed inwards and the balls of your feet between the front and the middle of your footpegs. You should need to move your feet to touch the rear brake or the shifter. Your feet and ankles touching the bike should have a good deal of control over the bike. Many people keep very passive foot positioning which greatly reduces their control over the dirtbike and makes you more passenger than racer.
Overall, your body positioning should make it feel comfortable to be under full braking, full acceleration, and leaning the bike with feet on the pegs, but to learn these limits under your newfound control, you have to be thinking about body position whenever you ride, as applying these changes while you aren't riding fast enough for them to be useful will lead to them being neglected. Time on the bike while riding with correct positioning is the biggest thing to learning. I recommend getting someone to video you and think about how different your body position is from the pros whenever they come on TV.
TL;DR be active in control over your dirtbike, don't just "ride" it.

2021.10.23 22:58 wallerberg8823 Virtualized Network Server (pair?)
Planning to do something like two servers where they're sharing/mirroring in case of failure in one, as host and guests include a routefw like pfSense plus a bunch of network services like pihole and that sort of thing. Wondering what sort of specs/hardware would be ideal in terms of power consumption, resilience, and what sorts of similar setups others might have that I can learn from.
